I am a third year University student currently studying Business Studies at the University of Chichester. I have a passion for football, especially Chelsea and I also thoroughly enjoy writing about the beautiful game. I write consistently about all things football and wanted somewhere to put all the work I have stored away. Sports journalism is a sector I dream of working in one day and I hope that this blog will help me with that in one way shape or form. Gaining experience from other people reading my posts and giving me feedback will be crucial for me as I look to improve and pursue my dreams of following football.
I fell in love with football during the 2006 World Cup, following England to the quarterfinals was breathtaking for me and I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed something that I had previously despised. Following the heartbreaking penalty shootout loss to Portugal, I remember saying to my Dad “Is that it for football for four years then?” To which he replied “No of course not son, there is a league that runs from August to May,” I was confused but excited and within a few months my passion for Chelsea was born. Ever since I have watched every Chelsea game I was available to watch as well as going to Stamford Bridge various times and visiting other grounds throughout my current 13 year love with football.
